An independent software practice · Direct accountability
I help businesses fix the software, websites, workflows, and cloud systems they rely on without hiring a full-time technical team.
I'm Matt. I fix frustrating business processes with practical software, automation, integrations, websites, and technical guidance. If software isn't the right answer, I'll say so.

A small, experienced problem-solving team
Matt leads the client relationship, frames the problem, makes the technical decisions, implements the work, and remains accountable for the outcome.
When the problem benefits from deeper workflow observation or usability work, Ariana brings user research and UX perspective to understand how people actually work, not just how a process is supposed to work.
The answer may be a process change, better use of an existing product or service, automation, an integration, a small internal tool, a website improvement, custom software, or doing nothing yet.
See how we work togetherHow the work moves
The depth is proportional to the decision. A small question may need one conversation. A complex workflow may need observation and evidence before anyone recommends a solution.
See how the work happens, who it affects, where it breaks, and what the problem costs.
Separate the symptom from the real problem and define what a useful improvement would mean.
Compare value, effort, risk, and maintenance. Decide what matters now and what can wait.
Implement only what the evidence justifies, from a process change to focused software.
Check whether the change actually reduced friction, errors, delay, or unnecessary work.
Stay accountable when maintenance, guidance, and further improvement create value.
Hosting and infrastructure
I can own the hosting and cloud infrastructure behind your website, application, or integration. I work directly with AWS and other cloud providers, so you aren't paying layers of vendors to relay support tickets and vague explanations.
Domains, DNS, hosting, deployments, monitoring, backups, security updates, and cloud costs stay visible and explainable. You know where things live, what you're paying for, and who's responsible when something breaks.

What direct accountability feels like
“For quite some time, I had a website created by a company that unfortunately did not provide a satisfactory presentation or quality. The design and functionality fell short of my expectations and did not effectively represent my business. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to work with Matt Russo, an exceptional individual who greatly assisted me in creating a website that is both appropriate and professional for my business needs.”
“From start to finish, the process and interaction was incredible. Great communication with the team, prompt attention and really valuable suggestions for my website. Very happy with the final result and strongly recommend Software InFocus!”
